What is Bronze?

The following procedures are optional for the insurer to cover on Bronze Hospital; Pregnancy & Birth, IVF, Surgical Weight Loss, Joint Replacements, Cataract, Dialysis for Chronic Renal Failure, Pain Management Devices, Sleep Studies, Back/Neck/Spine, Heart and Vascular, Blood, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (Medically Necessary), Dental Surgery, Podiatric Surgery (Provided by a Registered Podiatric Surgeon), Implantation of Hearing Devices
Restrictions are Psychiatric treatment, Rehabilitation, Palliative Care
All other procedures with a Medicare Item Number are covered to 100% of the Medicare Benefits Schedule Fee in a private hospital.
